Many people are successful in several areas of their life, yet still have a niggling feeling that something is missing. They may have great careers, a wonderful home, brilliant people around them…even a relationship that they’ve always longed for…yet still there can be a sense that something is missing.
That something is not to be found inside, but is found through undergoing an inner shift.
The inner shift is what the Tantrics called “the alchemy of the heart”. We need to open our hearts in order to feel fully engaged with life and the people around us. Opening the heart is not just a fluffy new-age concept, but a tangible shift that alters the way you see your whole life. Opening the heart also has physiological effect on the body, with measurable shifts in neurotransmitters and hormones. On a spiritual level, almost every major religion and spiritual path talks about love and opening the heart in order to know the divine in life.
Listening to your Heart Meditation
This meditation is based upon Tantric methods to bring awareness to the heart center. This is actually perceived to be in the center of the chest, rather than the physiological heart. In fact, when we say “me” and point to ourselves, we point automatically to the heart center.
This practice is about directing energy into this part of the physical body, and entering the heart space. We use breath to begin to melt away any layers of protection that we no longer need. Slowly…gently…the defenses start to drop and our whole consciousness shifts.
This audio meditation uses guidance along with music designed specifically to shift your vibration. In less than 6 minutes you can shift into a more heart-centered state.
We recommend to try this meditation at least once per day for 21 days in a row. This is called a Tantric Sadhana, and helps to reprogram old habits of defense that no longer serve you, replacing them with a more open-hearted state.
