Do you long for the security of belonging, yet love the freedom of flowing?
Are you sick of getting triggered by your partner in intimacy and long for a more peaceful way to relate?
Or maybe you are just wondering how to spice up a long-term relationship...
Well, you have arrived in the right place!
I have dedicated more than15 years of full-time investigation into the quest for the ultimate love life! After countless Tantra studies, years of practice and a whole lot of loving, I have found that Tantra points us home to ourselves! When we discover the secrets of Empowered Intimacy, we can create the love life we desire. Co-creating a relationship using these principles becomes fun, emotionally safe, juicy and loving! |
In Tantra*, the secret to happy relationships and intimacy is to take full responsibility for:
And the knack is to find how to be sovereign, and yet still enter into deep intimacy with another.
- Your sexual pleasure
- Your desire
- Your boundaries
- Your heart and love
- Your triggers and down-days
- Your passion and purpose
And the knack is to find how to be sovereign, and yet still enter into deep intimacy with another.
* Tantra refers to Neo-Tantra, a modern-day path that fuses ancient concepts with modern psychotherapy in a trauma-informed way. It is designed to suit modern-day people. This is a path with no guru, but the methods themselves teach you by experience. Thus it trusts in the Universal Intelligence.
What can Tantra give to you as a Couple?
When we look at the roots of Tantra we find that many of the great teachers of this lineage were in long-term couples, praticing Tantra together. The famous yab-yum statue of a couple entwined in love-making and meditation is based upon a founder of Tantra from Tibet called Padmasambhava ad his partner Mandarava, who are even believed to have achieved immortality through their tantric practices together!
However, most modern coupes are not looking for immortality! Yet still the practices of Tantra can bring so much to enrich their relationship. Why is this?
The path of Tantra is a way to unite opposites. It resolves contradictions. It heals separation. It is in fact the alchemy of union.
What draws us together with another is the attraction of opposites. Polarities are magnetically attracted and create a spark of sexual energy between them. For some people this is found through opposite genders, and for others the polarity is found through energy dynamics. For sexual energy to be alive, requires some sort of polarity, and this can be generated in various ways. This polarity might be fixed or fluid in a relationship, it is up to each couple (eg one partner is always more "yang" (directing), the other more "yin" (surrendering), or the couple fluidly interchange these roles between them.
The same qualities that attract us, can also trigger us at times. These differences between us can be the cause of many arguments and disagreements! Until we resolve our own inner conflicts it is hard to find peace in our relationships. Once we heal those inner conflicts we find that love and compassion replace judgement and separation. In this way relationship can be a powerful vehicle for our personal and spiritual growth. If we know how to navigate it!
So Tantric practices are not only a superficial way to have a better sex life. They are also facilitating inner transformation to bring you more into peace within yourself.
In Tantra there is the concept of cultivating your own "sovereignty". This means your own masculine and feminine aspects are healed and in harmony, and you feel whole and complete.
Yet you can also enter relationship with another, and enjoy intimacy and connection. Rather than "loosing yourself" in relationship, you discover that you grow in it and become the greatest version of yourself!

- Some couples have a fiery sexual attraction but also have fiery arguments!
- Some couples find a way to live peacefully together but lose their sexual spark!
- Tantra teaches us to unite passion and peace so that we can cultivate relationships that are safe and peaceful, whist also being dynamic and passionate! This is achieved through the process of inner union.
