Practice - Work - Play - Chill
Live together with other Tantra Teachers in paradise locations
A decade ago I had a great idea. I realised how being on retreat is amazing: incredible people living together with daily practices and open hearts. But as teachers, we are busy teaching and holding space! So, what if we lived as if we are on retreat, but all the teachers together! And with time to do all that daily-life stuff that we need to do when we are not facilitating: build our websites, organise the next retreats, post on our socials etc.
So I invented the Tantra Sangha: a community of Tantra Teachers living together in a pop-up community. Pop-up because they lasted 1 or 2 months, and were held in different locations around the world. Community because we all shared a common goal: our work in the world, and we share things such as daily practice, sharing circles, work space, cuddle time, and forum sharing circles.
And it is the best thing I ever did.
Because it is for me, as much as for anyone else, I do this not-for-profit. I just ask the venue to give me a room in exchange for the organising, and arrange some overlap to cover major losses. Otherwise, we are all just paying rent; there are no retreat fees.
We co-create this event. Each of us will lead morning practice, and/or lead an evening session. Or perhaps you will give a talk on some aspect of Tantrapreneurship and managing business. This is a co-created community. And that is it's magic!

What it looks like
The structure is created by Shashi, and is an invitation. Please note that the only obligatory things are a shared lunch and a weekly sharing circle. Having said that, it is a community and so please intend to join more communal events that you miss, otherwise we end up being a shared house with everyone doing their own thing, and we will miss the magic of community (there are other places you can find co-living like that). As the initiator, Shashi carries a leadership role. She also carries the responsibility for the venue and thus will make decisions based upon that responsibility. Please check within that you are comfortable with that.
Mon to Fri: focus on work
Sat and Sun: Focus on play and chill
Mon to Fri: Structure
Sat and Sun: Flow
Mon to Fri:
Weekends: One day we tend to organise a fun activity such as a waterfall visit or hike in small groups. One day to each do their own thing.
The only obligatory events are lunchtimes together Mon to Fri, and Forum on a Friday morning.

What are the collective agreements?
- No alcohol or drugs on site
- Health-conscious lifestyle choices, positive mindset, intention for harmony and open hearted living.
- No gossiping about other community members behind their back
- Agreement to reach out to someone if you are triggered by them and seek resolution (or ask for mediation)
- Agreement to show up for forum every week (Friday 10am - do not book any other appointments))
- Intention to be considerate to the collective, as well as your individual needs
- Intention to co-create emotional safety for all
Who it is for
- This is for Tantra professionals: facilitators, coaches, bodyworkers etc. Sometimes you are peripheral but still resonate such as dance facilitators, breathwork facilitators etc.
- You need to be ON IT with your project! You already run an online business, have a social media following, organise retreats etc. This is not a retreat to learn any of this. It is a co-working retreat for those already doing their thing.
- This is for community-minded people. You like living close to others, you are happy to be seen in the morning without makeup and before coffee (!). You contribute to the collective. You show up for community events, yet you are also good with your own boundaries and know when you need to take space for yourself. You show up to morning practice, and are happy to do the class with everyone else (creating a unified field)
- How well do you know Shashi? This is mostly about living with my friends and colleagues, but occasionally someone I didn't yet meet feels called and is resonant. If you feel that you want to study with me, pease join a training (www.taotantricarts.com), but do not sign up for this event. Thank you.
What do you need?
- To live on site you must be able to attend for the ENTIRE period
- You need your own project and all you need to do work whilst on this retreat
- You can manage accountability for yourself; you can hold space for yourself
- You need enough abundance to pay your rent, food, travel, insurance and have plenty left over for lifestyle. If you are struggling on a budget, it can hold the whole community back.
TIP: Next Sangha will probably be Ubud, Bali in Dec and jan 2024-2025
